瑞典男歌手Gyllene Tider女歌手Marie Fredriksson於1986成流行二人Roxette前，二人即已分有各自的音事，而Fredriksson曾替Tider的英文任合音，後在EMI唱片公司行的建下人合作英文歌曲，以Roxette的名在行，但未能在瑞典以外的地上榜，因而唱片公司Roxette的歌曲不合行。
俗 :人的是城也不住。1988，Roxette行了第2《Look Sharp》，一位美的交生回了家明尼州，交了地的台KDWB播放，中的一首《The Look》首次播出後，即得了的烈回，打要求再次播出。KDWB除了首歌分送它的姊妹台，也全的台送了500份拷，歌曲因此在美始。EMI原本不看好海外，但即Roxette售合，此首《The Look》於成瑞典第3首登上美告示牌排行榜的冠歌曲 ( 前2首1974 Blue Swede翻唱BJ Thomas的《Hooked on a Feeling》1976 ABBA的《Dancing Queen》)，Roxette也自此成了的歌唱人。而此篇所介的《Dangerous》男歌手Gyllene Tider所，亦收在前述《Look Sharp》中，曲成也相亮眼，得告示牌排行榜的第2名。

2002，Marie Fredriksson在家中摔跤而被罹患了瘤，刀治，三年後又逐始作行。2008起，Roxette重聚，人多次合演出，於2011始世界巡演，2016，Marir由於健康情不佳，在生建下停止了所有巡演活，至2019，仍不病魔世，享年61。
