Peter Kent是位德流行歌手兼作人，1948出生於德北方的。他初是加一名「Six de conduits」的，之後了音「Hair」中的一角色，其它音一起在德巡演。1975，Peter Kent成合唱Love Generation的成之一，的成差人意，曾有歌曲打德播排行榜的前50名。
1979，Peter Kent始其唱事，此首《It;s a Real Good Feeling》即其行的首支曲，而此第一棒即出了全打，1980在德排行榜得冠，唱片也大了75，之後也有首歌曲入榜了前20名。
影集《霹》的主角李克，本名David Hasselhoff ( 大赫索霍夫 )，是位德裔美人。他除了演之外，也情於唱歌，曾翻唱不少首歌曲，像是《Jump In My Car》，2006得了英曲排行榜的第3名。以及曾介的《Looking for Freedom》。David Hasselhoff在演《霹》，女演Catherine Hickland在中婚，想到假真做，人也真的在1984夫妻，但婚姻只持了5年。以下另David Hasselhoff此曲的翻唱版。

Disco歌曲在70年代中後期至80年代初，曾大行，但因音太於子械化，而遭到一些人士的抨反，甚至1979/07/12在芝加哥的棒球棒球宣所的「Disco Demolition Night」，果造成了爆炸事件，以暴告，成了知名的「the day disco died」。不，好的音永不失，不定哪天又流行了起。
