上一篇到Neil Diamond替The Monkees出了冠曲《I'm A Beliver》，而此首於1970行的《Cracklin' Rosie》，是他真正自自唱首支的冠曲。
此曲是Neil Diamond加拿大台CKLW的音Rosalie Trombley的，Rosalie Trombley的「感」盛名，只要被她相中列入播放名中的歌曲，都很有。由於Neil Diamond之前曾被她打了次，於此曲歌中的句「play it now」，被是直接在向Rosalie Trombley喊求：在就播吧！^^

其，「Cracklin' Rosie」是一酒名。Neil Diamond在後的中透露，他首歌的感源，是到一於加拿大原住民保留部落的故事，由於地男多女少，末不到女伴的男士，就大家坐一圈，手中抱著之「Cracklin' Rosie」的酒，看是自我也是相互的安慰吧！歌中：Cracklin' Rose, you're a store bought woman，有些嘲人有女伴，自己也有由店的「女人」。呵呵！的有那失意的意境及趣味性。
然Neil Diamond自己的冠曲只有三首，是歌逾半世的知名歌手。今年 ( 2018 ) 年初，77的Neil Diamond忽然自爆得了帕金森氏症，故取消了「出道50年巡演唱」剩次的表演。不，他表示仍作及音，要粉不用太。此感慨之，不禁令想起了克阿瑟的名言：老兵不死，只是逐凋零。
