1976年底，老合唱 ( Eagles ) 出了第5《Hotel California》，其中的2首：《New Kid In Town》和《Hotel California》均拿下了排行榜的冠，及各得了一座葛美。本身在全世界狂了3200，也是Eagles售最佳的。
《Try and Love Again》即上述中的一首，或由於以上首歌曲的光芒於耀眼，使得此曲受到遮蔽，而失去了有的。另外一可能的原因，是首歌的作者及主唱的是士手Randy Meisner。事上，Randy Meisner在Eagles 1976─77，《Hotel California》作巡演，即Glenn Frey了包括要不要唱《Take It To the Limit》首歌等事得不可交，致Randy Meisner在巡演後 ( September 1977 )。之後，Eagles然不再演唱Randy Meisner相的歌曲及刻意作宣促。

Randy Meisner其是有些才的，也因此在有一定的名和地位。首《Try and Love Again》算是首不的歌，的是不和分手的人破重？或是方遭打後再接再？也了多人在方面的一些省思。
