首《Mother》是John Lennon所，最早出在他1970推出的〈John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band〉中 ( 彼「披」已散夥 )，之後再的版本以曲在美行。而曲因掐去尾度只有1分41秒，得百大的19名，以及告示牌百大第43名。

首歌名《母》，而上是一孩童在心中的喊。John Lennon的父在他是就了家，母然也未和他住在一起，但仍和他保持相密的，不幸於1958年被一下了班的警察酒撞死，Lennon是17。

知道了Lennon有著的身世，在首歌，似乎更能感受到他心中的那份悲痛和哀。
