美The Essex原由4位役的所成，後在NCO Club ( 士官俱部 ) 到亦女的Anita Humes唱歌，得歌喉佳，而邀加入，但之後有一，成了四人合。

1963，The Essex歌曲的唱提交了唱片公司，因而得了出曲的。但主打的歌曲《Are You Going My Way》，此首《Easier Said Than Done》作曲的B面，而且在音室的短 ( 都用在了主打歌身上 )，致事後要以重的方式剪接。曲行後，台的DJ偏偏就喜播放B面的一首，才短短的一月，此曲就上了告示牌流行榜的冠。

合此曲的另位同僚William Linton透露，其此曲奏的感自於他工作的「通室」的「打字」的音。接下The Essex又出了首曲，其中《A Walkin' Miracle》的成也不，拿下第12名。但身，The Essex很接他的成功，像多久，成Rudolph Johnson被派往了基地，另位Rodeny Taylor於1966在一劫未遂中身亡。女主唱Anita Humes之後以人身份替唱片公司出了首曲，唯均榜。2010世，享年69。

歌曲的大意是朋友都鼓女主角，勇敢的向喜的男生告白，但女生在太害羞，只能份意深藏於心。
