此曲美女歌手兼曲作家Jackie DeShannon所，於1963首作另首《When You Walk in the Room》的B面行。B面的歌曲「通常」不入排行榜的名次，但此曲A面的《When You Walk……》也勉打入告示牌排行榜第99名。
到Jackie DeShannon，其歌的才毋庸置疑。一般而言，能或唱出一首典歌曲世就很不了( 西洋歌曲的「一曲歌王 / 」多得是 )，而Jackie DeShannon有多首的知名曲，除了上述的《When You Walk in the Room》外，有《Needles and Pins》(1963)、《Bette Davis Eyes》(1981) 等，都是被人唱，然自己也有首像是《Put a Little Love in Your Heart》( # 4 ) 等成算可以的歌曲，但整看，Jackie DeShannon是一位常「人作嫁」的「悲情」歌手。

唱Bette Davis Eyes (# 1) 的Kin Karnes，右Bette Davis本尊。
歌曲好不好其是「仁智」，也和排行榜的名次的。1965，澳洲甜心女歌手Olivia Newton-John在正式出道前，曾加才目「Sing, Sing, Sing,」，得赴英展的。此首《Till You Say You'll Be Mine》是Olivia在1966赴英後所的第一首曲 ( 也是歌唱生涯的首支曲 )，可惜的是，不未打英排行榜，也能有佳的，算是「全覆」，唱片公司之後也未再替她出曲。直至1971，Olivia才由另家唱片公司行的《If Not For You》走。Olivia之後回此曲曾：音起就像是在浴室的。
此曲重未出在Olivia的人中，倒是原行的Decca唱片公司，或是因Olivia有了名後，此曲收在一些合中，以及在一些音媒平台上行。Olivia本身是不太想再提起首歌，但此曲原版的黑唱片，她的某些粉，是集的至。
Jackie DeShannon的原唱到Olivia Newton-John的翻唱，歌曲的音效安排在是不理想，也或是想Phil Spector著名的「wall of sound (似撞到的回音)」而不成，但歌曲的奏很棒，是令人念的60年代。
