此一首西部村格的「基督」歌曲，由Marijohn WilkinKris Kristofferson ( 此位老兄歌唱得普通，倒是不少好歌，像是《Help Me Make It Through The Night》。) 所合，1974首由美村女歌手Marilyn Sellars唱行，成然不算很好，但也跨村和流行榜，分得第1937名，另也在1975得「福音音」的「金」( GMA Dove Awards )。

1977，女歌手Gloria翻唱曲，得排行榜的第5名，一年後又重新行，此次登上了冠座，前後在排行榜前30名共停留了90，也下了排行榜的。1979，格女歌手Lena Martell的版本在英曲排行榜也勇冠。完，1980，美女歌手Cristy Lane於此曲已在英的成功，仍再推出她的版本，也再拿下了美告示牌村榜的冠。同一首歌能在多家地，由不同歌手得第一名，不多。歌者Kris Kristofferson，此是他第6首的冠曲，而距上一首已相隔了6年，具意。
