美歌手John Fogerty具有相的音才，不能能能唱，CCR ( 清水合唱 ) 期，推出了多首令人忘的歌曲，使得CCR成了知名的。但John Fogerty的性於自 ( 或也有些跋扈 )，同的鼓手、士手原中同或尚可默默忍受 ( 其後John Fogerty唱片公司有法律，人是站在公司方。)，而任旋律吉他手的自己的哥哥Tom Fogerty可，意，致在成立了5年後於1972解散。

John Fogerty後仗著自己的才，想搞一些和在CCR不一的作品，像1973行的《The Blue Ridge Rangers》，其中是翻唱村和西部歌曲，此名的是John Fogerty & The Blue Ridge Rangers，但的成其只有他一人 ( 各式的伴奏器，全由他自己包。)，成不理想。1985的《Centerfield》倒是上了排行榜的冠座，其中一首前10名的歌曲《The Old Man Down the Road》，至今仍常被典的及播棒球比的台播放。而另首《Zanz Kant Danz》，的是一不跳舞但偷你的，此曲被是在攻John Fogerty的前唱片公司的老Saul Zaentz，也因此Fogerty吃上了官司。
在沉寂了10年之後，John Fogerty於1997推出《Blue Moon Swamp》，或他於想通了，又走回了「商化」的路，此在1998替Fogerty得了一坐「最佳」的葛美，一已年53的老歌手，也不易。此首《Rambunctious Boy》中的歌曲，此曲的唱片版由「草 ( 村音 )」的Lonesome River Band替其伴奏伴唱，也很得看到Fogerty不以高音嘶吼唱歌曲。Rambunctious的英文解：full of energy and difficult to control，此或可翻成「桀不」吧！
