此曲英石The Rolling Stones的主唱Mick Jagger和吉他手Keith Richards所合，收於1969的《Let It Bleed》中，另作曲《Honky Tonk Women》的B面行，惜未能入榜。而唱片公司不死心，於1973又以重新行，但也只在告示牌榜得第42名。而即便如此，首歌在石2004「最大的500首歌曲」中，仍排名第100。
此曲收於的完整版度7分30秒，始的合唱音London Bach Choir ( 敦巴赫合唱 )。歌分三部份，述的容分含情、政治和毒品。第三段歌中出的人名「Mr. Jimmy」，有位住在明尼州Excelsior的Jimmy Hutmaker老兄，自歌中的位Jimmy就是指他，1964曾在Excelsior的房遇到Mick Jagger。而另有一，Mr. Jimmy其是由的作人Jimmy Miller引而。由於在此曲，鼓手Charlie Watts一法掌握到鼓的拍，Jimmy Miller原本只是想示，果成直接由他替代上。
