此曲美Exile的位J.P. PenningtonMark Gray所，於1980曲行，但未引起多的注。1981，美歌手Don King行了他的版本，成算不，在告示牌村榜拿下了第27名。接著又有Rita Coolidge此曲收在她1981的《Heartbreak Radio》中，而另行的曲只得排行榜第103名。其Rita唱得很不，至於成不佳，或是缺少了歌手兼曲作家的前夫 (1973-1980) Kris Kristofferson的忙加持吧！

美村Alabama至1983才此曲，其Don King版本的差，依村音作家Tom Roland的法，在於使用了「破音吉他」的音效更精心作的曲，以及改的音唱法。Alabama的版本得了告示排村榜的第1名，也是第10首的冠曲。也由於此曲在台被要求播放的次甚多，也同得榜的第38名。

最近看了一YouTube影音，是在路上找女生，她打手向喜的男生「告白」，和此歌有「曲同工」之妙，手另的男生乎都接受甚至要立即女生碰面 ( 感不太像是事先串好的)。「愈靠近，我就陷得愈深。」感情就是加的。
