假如各位看1967年由薛尼迪 ( Sidney Poitier ) 主演的《To Sir, with Love》( 台：吾吾 )，一定和影片同名的主曲印象深刻，而在片中自演唱此曲的英女歌手Lulu，也因此一炮而。
回到1964，此首《Here Comes the Night》也是由Lulu率先唱行，可惜成不佳，在英排行榜第50名，在美根本榜。後的1965，由北Them所推出的版本，成了曲 ( UK #2 / US #24 )，和Them的主唱Van Morrison有些。
Van Morrison有才，唱俱佳，但在性上也固和特立行的。其在1964所的《Gloria》，由於歌和奏，成了 ( garage rock ) 和一些常演唱的曲目。1966，Van MorrisonThem，之後知名的歌曲《Brown Eyed Girl》。
可不要小看了Van Morrison。然曾「大英帝章（Order of the British Empire）」的人甚多，但只有在五爵位中的最高，才可在姓名前冠上 Sir 或 Dame ( 女性 ) ← 非英人否。 Van Morrison也名列在被冠上 Sir 的唯 6英 歌手之一，可其在音上的和成就 。( 其他5人是披的Paul McCartney、被英王的Cliff Richard、石的主唱Mick Jagger、Tom Jones以及Elton John。 )
此曲的作者Bert Berns，也曾《Twist and Shout》、《Hang on Sloopy》、《Under the Boardwalk》等知名曲，可惜英年早逝，死於引的心衰竭，享年38。
