Rhinestone( 茵石 ) 是出自茵河的一透明石英，也是俗的「水」( 而今一些仿的彩色玻璃石或假均之Rhinestone )。由於Rhinestone光耀亮，常被人用秀服。Rhinestone Cowboy ( 茵石牛仔 )意「穿著漂亮水秀服的牛仔」。

首《Rhinestone Cowboy》是Larry Weiss所，於1974首行於其之中，然而，好像也有造成什商上的。，Glen Campbell正在澳洲作巡演唱，恰巧上的收音到了首歌。歌曲大意是述一位尚不得志的村歌手，心中渴望有朝一日能像穿著水秀服的牛仔般的功成名就。Glen Campbell然在60年代後期即已成名，但感的事遇到些瓶，首歌直就像是在唱他，下定回去後要唱首歌。

Glen Campbell的翻唱版本於1975年推出後，立即得流行和村音友的注意，在年夏天，同得到了流行榜及村榜的冠。也是Campbell售成最好的一曲，除了得村音、院及美音等，也被名葛美年度最佳歌曲，而可惜未。
