老歌(450)The Green Leaves of Summer

首歌是了1960的影《The Alamo》( 台：城英烈 ) 所。Alamo是美德州南方靠近安尼 ( San Antonio ) 城市附近的一座保，1835年，在德州立中，遭墨西哥山塔率政府攻，十三天激烈的，守保200名的志全亡。此役德州，但是「勿忘阿拉莫」（Remember the Alamo）後成激德州士的口。此片由有幕形象的翰恩 ( John Wayne ) 主演，2004，此役故事又另重拍。

其《The Green Leaves of Summer》的歌曲容和「阿拉莫役」，演唱者是民合唱The Brothers Four，然在排行榜只得第65名，被提名年的斯卡金像最佳原歌曲，惜未 ( 魁的是《Never on Sunday》)。1961，此曲於拿下了一座「金球最佳原配」。

The Brothers Four的成名曲1960的《Greenfields》 ( US #2 )，而其他如《Yellow Bird》、《Try to Remember》等也都是年在台流行的歌曲。60年代中期，也受到了「英入侵」的影，始向海外 ( 日本 ) 以及在的各大旅店作巡演唱。更迭，而迄今仍有演唱活，也是「不老」合唱。
