此曲的共同作者Todd Sharp回Christine McVie大概只花了30分即作了此曲，且在到第一段歌就言此曲具有商的前瞻性。歌曲容大意是被方「」到了，由於之前的失，希望次不要再了。歌曲容常被疑是否歌者自身所遭遇之情？McVie澄清道: at the time I wrote it， no one did have a hold on me。
