美全女子The Go-Go's於1978成立於洛杉，至1981年中推出首《Beauty and the Beat》，此在告示牌榜一路攀升，至登上了冠座，唱片出超2百 ( 白金 )，The Go-Go's然也一炮而。
此首《Our Lips Are Sealed》的吉他手Jane Wiedlin另位英歌手Terry Hall所合 ( 依Wiedlin的法，1980，Go-Go's在英巡演，Hall有和其他的女生交往，但人仍有短的情。回美後Hall仍寄了些歌她，致他共同作了首歌 )，此曲作的第一首歌曲，曲下告示牌的第20名，自是功不可。

不，The Go-Go's最著名的招牌歌是同反面第一首的《We Got the Beat》，由的吉他手兼手Charlotte Caffey所作，曲告示牌榜第2名，也是所行的曲成最佳者。
