此曲美The Cars於1981行的第4《Shake It Up》中的同名歌曲，然也是的主打曲，在告示牌排行榜到第4名，也是The Cars首度排行榜前十的歌曲。

此曲的主唱Ric Ocasek所作，且早在行的前些年就好。的鼓手，此曲曾在音室好次，但得不佳而被在一旁，後他甚至不想此曲而其他起了，最後的法是：大家之前所的既定模式全部，而之一首全新的歌曲待，此方式果然有效，於此曲唱完成。

The Cars被定位「新浪潮 (New Wave)」，音格融合了新多的元素。以此曲而言，歌曲中的「OOO」合音，及歌中「quirky jerk」、「night cats」些跳舞用的(？)，都有著60年代的身影，但音是先的子合成器及子鼓。

是一首跳舞歌曲，歌似也何深之。Bass手Benjamin Orr此曲的寓意：在生活中塑造自己固定的形象非常重要，也人了解你真正的意思。就是勇於做自己及表自己吧！
