英歌手Shakin’ Stevens1970始，乎每年都行和曲，但每一都「棒落空」，根本入排行榜；直到1980，才勉有首歌打UK排行榜前30名，呵呵，真像是「十年寒窗」啊！Shakin’ Stevens真正始走，是在1981以一首《This Ole House》得UK榜冠座，在接下的10年，不所行的曲都站上了排行榜，其中包含了另外3首的冠曲。
此首《Give Me Your Heart Tonight》是由1982同名中另行的曲，很然是的主打歌，但成不如同另首攻下冠的《Oh Julie》，只拿到了第11名。
1987，Shakin' Stevens所行的一首《Because I Love You》，在台是到不行，或是因英排行榜的歌曲非主流，且年未再引此位老兄的其他歌曲，故大家位歌手不算熟悉。想是位Stevens老兄因模仿「王」Elvis吃到了些甜，之後即一直守著「老式」的格，然在英具知名度，未能打「」的市。由於「英王」的名，先前已被Cliff Richard去了，否封位Shakin' Stevens才是。
