名John Cougar的美歌手John Mellencamp，某日在地下室的室吉他手Larry Crane在一些和弦，他即音打，跟唱了30句的歌，之後再不喜的部份剔除，首《Danger List》於焉生。
此曲收在John Cougar 1982的《American Fool》中。此之前不唱片公司不看好，搞得 Cougar自己也啥信心，未料行後竟拿下了告示牌排行榜的榜首，其中的《Jack and Diane》亦是冠曲，另首《Hurts So Good》然只得到了第2名，Cougar在1983得了一座「最佳男歌手」的葛美 ( 之後Cougar又被提名12次，唯均未。)，Cougar然也跟著大翻身。有人，此中只有3首好歌 ( 另一首《Hand to Hold On To / #19》)，其歌曲皆「填充料」。此法未免於主，音各有偏好，台我就得3首之外的此曲也很不。
之前介，John Mellencamp位老兄在37就了「外公」。2011，Mellencamp和第3任妻子婚後，始和被「美甜心」的演Meg Ryan ( 台影友她在1998Tom Hanks合演的情喜片《You've Got Mail / 台：子情》有印象 ) 交往，了3年，在2014的夏天宣布分手，而月，又透露人在10月合；不知是天容易心浮燥是怎，2015夏天人再度分。次，Mellencamp可再「一枝花」，交上了超模Christie Brinkley，但好景不，才短短一年，即和Christie告吹。令人意想不到的是，Mellencamp和Ryan竟然在2017再再次合，而且在2018的11月婚，希望次不要再生了。呵呵！
