Ellie Greenwich和Jeff Barry曾的夫妻 ( 1962─1966 )，一起合作不少炙人口的典歌曲，像是《Da Doo Ron Ron》、《Then He Kissed Me》、《Be My Baby》等等，首《Christmas ( Baby Please Come Home )》亦人所作 ( Phil Spector也共同名 )。此曲原本意由The Ronettes的Ronnie Spector唱，依Darlene Love的法，由於Ronnie Spector未能表的情注入歌曲，改由她瓜代成了原唱者，此曲也是Darlene Love的招牌歌。

其，此曲於1963推出未受到太多的注，直到被多知名、歌手翻唱。其中包含有The Quiet Jungle ( 1968 )、U2 ( 1987 )，歌手Mariah Carey也此曲收在她1994的中，2011得告示牌的位歌曲榜第59名，在上的售超了20次。Cher，年Darlene Love版本的合音之一，也在36年後的1999，推出了她利用自音 ( Auto-Tune) 效果的跳舞版本，曲中主要歌唱的部份是Rosie O'Donnell。
