出生於1949的美歌手Eric Carmen，在校就加名Cyrus Erie的。後於1970另Raspberries，任吉他手兼主唱，期也有首曲，像是《Go All The Way》。1975解散始，首《Eric Carmen》中的《All BY Myself》，也成了他後知名的代表作之一。同中的首《That's Rock 'n' Roll》，不知受何限制而未能在美行曲，果只在丹的排行榜得第7名。



Eric Carmen自幼在父母的期望力下，了琴和小提琴。青少年，受到「披」和「石」等英的影，始自吉他。首《That's Rock 'n' Roll》的部份歌，也等於是Eric Carmen自身的照。 ( 相信喜搞都差不多，台年也是 -- I bought a guitar，I got the fever。哈哈！)

Shaun Cassidy是在The Partridge Family ( 家庭 ) 中演母的Shirley Jones的子， ( David Cassidy 其同父母的哥哥，也在The Partridge Family中演出。 )，1977，Shaun Cassidy青少年的偶像，翻唱此曲得告示牌排行榜的第3名，而使得此曲成了大曲。
