英歌手Peter Frampton12就始加The Little Ravens。之後：14→The Turbeats，16→The Herd。身The Herd的主唱及主奏吉他手，有好首歌曲入英排行榜前20名，而成了的曲。此，Peter Frampton已算是一成功的少年歌手，甚至登上青少年，成「The Face of 1968」。

1969，Peter Frampton加入由Steve Marriott ( 知名The Small Faces的原成之一 ) 所的Humble Pie。在此期，他也了一些知名人，像是原披的George Harrison等的音工作。在出了4音室及一之後，Peter Frampton於1971了Humble Pie，始打拼他人的唱事。

然前景看似一片大好，而在Peter Frampton出了後，也只能算是小成功，直到1976的《Feampton Comes Alive》才於大。其中的首《Show Me The Way》，Peter Frampton使用了「Talk Box」效果器，人和吉他合在一起，「效果」真的很不。自此之後，音似就成了他的商，Talk Box也一直跟著他演唱至今。
