首1986年的村歌曲《Grandpa ( tell me 'bout the good old days )》，是美村音二重唱The Judds所推出的《Rockin' with the Rhythm》中另行的曲，也是她在告示牌村曲榜的第6首冠歌曲。

The Judds是一母女，通常由女Wynonna Judd吉他及任主唱。1983正式和唱片公司起，至1991母Naomi Judd因查出罹患C型肝炎而宣告退出，才九年的，即有14首冠及6首前10名的榜歌曲，得5座葛美及8座美村音所之。成不耀眼，直就是人了。

首歌所述的是於情、家庭、信仰和承等一些有值的念。照理，社是不地在步，但上述的些反而逐地在崩，相信多人均有此感。也有人指出，首歌推出美正面的不景 ( 1985年9月，美因易赤字大，宣介入率市，日元也因此始大幅升值。)，生活不好，多人因此心情，而始念起去美好的日子。首歌正好和大家的心生了共，因而大受迎。
