在浪漫的情故事中，王子遇到公主，局都成一令人的佳偶。而有著「民皇后」美的Joan Baez和「民之父」Bob Dylan也曾有一段秘密的情，但人未因此修成正果。
其Baez成名早，1963年在民歌遇到了Dylan，非常欣他的才 ( Dylan也正以一首《Blowing in the Wind》始露角，故也可是人惺惺相惜 )，Beaz邀Dylan她一起巡演出。人自此乎是形影不，如同夫唱，才子佳人在被喻歌最佳的神仙伴，可惜段感情到了最後是疾而，1965人以分手收。
1975年，Baez下了首《Diamond And Rust》，歌曲述著年Dylan那段如「石和」般的情，Baez自己形容，而石然指的是Dylan了，首歌後也成了Baez最具代表性的作品。
在Baez的回中有著一段後她和Dylan於首歌的，感Dylan有得了便宜乖，而Baez是故意他，他子碰。有趣的：
"You gonna sing that song about robin's eggs and diamonds?" Bob had asked me on the first day of rehearsals.
唱有知更蛋和石的那首歌？Bob在第一天的演如此的我。
"Which one?"
哪一首？
"You know, that one about blue eyes and diamonds..."
阿就是那首有眼睛和石的嘛……
"Oh", I said, "you must mean 'Diamonds And Rust,' the song I wrote for my husband, David. I wrote it while he was in prison."
噢，你的是《Diamond And Rust》，首歌是我先生David在中，我他的。
"For your husband?" Bob said.
是丈夫的？
"Yeah. Who did you think it was about?" I stonewalled.
是呀，不然你是的？
"Oh, hey, what the fuck do I know?"

"Never mind. Yeah, I'll sing it, if you like."
