首歌和之前介的《Sylvia's Mother》( 158)，都是鬼才歌者Shel Silverstein的作品，也同是由Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show ( 虎克生和草秀合唱 ) 在1972首推出。之後1973有Doyle Holly，1974有Barbi Benton，1975是Emmylou Harris，以及1976的Dave & Sugar等人的翻唱。
首歌中的Queen，可不是什真正的女王，而的是一位在酒工作的女子，每晚都被一群「哥男」，大家相互拼命地想好她，的是想在晚能她回家。一原本的下姑娘，在妄被吹捧的境，很容易就迷失了，她可能真的以自己是女王。
在各演唱者中，我得是Dave & Sugar三人合唱的版本最好，然版本在美村歌曲的排行榜只得到了第25名。
