是一首典的「死亡」，歌曲容是述Tommy和Laura是一人，而Tommy了取足的婚用，去加危性高的非法，果上了性命，死前仍不忘著「告拉我她」。首歌於1960年推出後即造成，在1960.8.得到排行榜第七名的佳，也是Ray Peterson（雷 彼德森）一生最具代表性的作品。
Ray Peterson於1958被RCA旗下歌手，人的要的候真的是城也不住。作曲家Baker Knight了一首《The Wonder Of You》要RCA的歌手Perry Como唱，但Como的作人得不合，Knight公室遇到了Peterson，就首歌交了Peterson，peterson也以首歌得了排行榜第25名，因而始露了角。
不如此，首《The Wonder Of You》後被王Elvis Presley翻唱。王首歌好後打Ray Perterson，他行首歌。
Peterson回：『你不需要我，因你是Elvis Presley』。
『是的，我要』王『因你是Ray Peterson』。
其，Ray Peterson和王在之前即有互。依Peterson的法，在60年代中期，他曾上一目「Shindig」，那天看起就像是王出道唱歌的十年特目，他在目中唱了四首王的歌。好，了，是天王王打的。王正在城中拍影，也看了那目，他是否有空在天和他共午餐？Ray Peterson『天王召你吃午餐，你不可能拒他。』
在局中王告Ray Peterson，他有多的享受Ray在目中演唱他的歌，同他也想知道，假如可以的，或Ray的《The Wonder Of You》收在他的下一。
『你能相信？堂堂的Elvis Presley要求允我的一首歌。事上，他然可以不需要我的同意，只是一大人物所展的大器度了。』之後王和Ray也成了好友，直至1977王猝逝。
1960年Ray Peterson了自己的唱片公司，第一首推出的歌《Corinna，Corinna》也入排行榜第九名。可惜之後就再也有入前十名的作品了。1994年影「超大奶」即此曲作片名。
Ray Peterson後的生活得不好，璀璨耀的日子束，他始借助丸，因而失去了妻子和富，後投身入教，也算是保住了他生的尊。2005年因癌症病逝，享年65。
首歌也有被天王文正等翻唱成歌。而我那位大姐Skeeter Davis也替首歌作了「回答歌」《Tell Tommy I MissHim》，但次我就不了。
