不的情有和毒品啡一般，一旦之後即很戒，有些甚至要到生了家庭悲後方能止。首《Lyin' Eyes / 的眼神》大意是在描述漂亮的女人因拜金而嫁有的老，住厦仍感寂寞。然後是欺老公要去安慰心情沮的老友，其是去年的情郎。後，她告情郎很快地再回。夜深人，面繁星，她似有所懊悔，疑起自己怎如此狂？次真的是玩火了，得自己好傻。但歌者不，最後道：噢！一定知道如何的和安排 ( 意仍出 )，而可笑的是，的新人生什改，是前的那女孩。
老合唱 ( Eagles )在洛杉打拼的候，主唱Glenn Erey和鼓手Don Henley某晚去到地的酒吧餐，看到一漂亮的女人後面跟著又老又胖的有佬，男女始嗤嗤笑，人之一：『 Look at her, she can't even hide those lyin eyes!』然後拿起尾酒杯的巾，始下歌。
首歌於1975推出後，得告示牌百大的第2名及村排行榜的第8名。此曲也替Eagles得了一座葛美 ---「最佳流行歌曲二重唱或演唱」。了因Top 40台在通常不播放度超4分的歌曲，刻意在中的原曲 ( 6分22秒 ) 剪明3分58秒，另以45曲行，但歌曲的度仍4分14秒。
