The Amies' tribe is Taiwan's largest indigenous tribe. mainly distributed throughout the Hualien and Taitung area. with a population of approximately two hundred one thousand.

The harvest festival is a kind of ceremony as well as to say thank you and pay tribute to ancestors for their blessing
The Harvest Festival usually lasts approximately seven days.
During their rites, the Amis put on colorful attire and partake in many dances before eating and playing games around campfires.
That really represents the cultural activities of Amis tribe to celebrate the harvest of this year's millet
