本葛美超奏新人法克海洋一如，以首《橘色道 Channel Orange》入包括年度、年度唱片、年度新人等6提名，堪今年最亮眼的新人歌手。斯肯伊威斯特合，推出《王者之 Watch The Throne》，舌入名，再加上人其他的人或跨刀作品，大天王各6提名。
除了法克海洋、斯、肯伊威斯特等是大家外，由秀比出身的莉克森入了年度唱片、年度曲、最佳人流行演出、最佳流行四大，R&B新人吉也入四，蕾哈娜以《娜Talk That Talk》入最佳流行人演出、最佳舌合唱、最佳音影(We Found Love )三提名。卡莉蕾以遍全球的曲〈有空叩我 Call Me Maybe〉入年度歌曲最佳流行人演出提名。
