We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer. In this role you will be developing the business intelligence solutions that will be used internally for tracking company metrics and by thousands of customers of App Annie products.

Desired Skills & Experience

-Design and development of the overall Data Integration, Data Warehouse architecture (ETL, Dimensional Modeling) for multiple transactional systems and multiple sources of external data
-Dashboard technologies
-Partner with business partners and technology partners to develop the product road map for offerings that leverage Data and create awesome insights for our customers
-Partner with internal and external technology providers, third parties, senior architects, QA and infrastructure operations teams to jointly design and develop integrated solutions
-Assume end to end responsibility for executing projects in an agile development environment
-Strong ability to develop complex SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, user defined functions, views and triggers for business logic implementation
-Well versed in normalization/de-normalization techniques for optimum performance in relational and dimensional database environments
-Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with clear understanding of business process flow
-Should have ability to work with members of globally distributed teams

You

-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area of study
-3-5 years’ experience in developing SQL scripts, stored procedures on any one of the relational databases from PostGreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
-Minimum 3 years’ of development experience in data warehouse environment
-Experience with dashboard technologies - Tableau Desktop and Server a strong advantage
-Knowledge and experiences in developing Reports, OLAP Models and performance management solutions and assisting in developing a Business Intelligence (BI) architecture
-Prior exposure to ETL technologies and Large scale DB is a big plus
-Prior exposure to working with globally distributed teams is preferred
-Spoken and written english
