Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work in Daraz E-Commerce End2End Flow
• Lead the development in one or multiple domains
• Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and communicate in both English and Mandarin is required
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience in Java development
• Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational and Non Relational Databases.
• Experience in the Spring Framework
• Experience with test-driven development
• Base in Singapore

Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design, and ship new features for Daraz.

• Work in the mobile business framework design and maintain. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and communicate in both English and Mandarin is required BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Proven working experience in NATIVE Android app development Experience with Android SDK and Core Frameworks. Strong knowledge of design patterns like MVC, Facade, Observer and Singleton patterns is a plus. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Working knowledge of version control system such as GIT is required

Senior iOS Developer

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design, and ship new features for Daraz App.

• Work in the mobile business framework design and maintain. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and communicate in both English and Mandarin is required
  BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Proven working experience in NATIVE iOS app development using Objective C (still hands on). Hands on with Swift language. Experience with dependency managers such as Cocoa pods or Carthage. Experience in designing and developing user interfaces using XCode, Interface Builder and Storyboard using Size Classes and Auto layout. Experience with iOS Core Frameworks and third party SDKs. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Working knowledge of version control system such as GIT is required
