Engineering at Vungle:
We are building a world-class engineering team with diversified skills and backgrounds. As the leader in in-app video advertising, we are taking on the challenge to fundamentally change the mobile advertising industry. We create ads and experiences that make sense for users, application developers, and advertisers. In this role, you will develop and execute the manual and automation test suites on our test and sample apps and web applications, and ensure that our backend services, our core platform, are tested with high quality industry standards.

Responsibilities:
-Develop, execute, maintain, and own comprehensive test plans and strategies for Vungle ’ s mobile SDKs, sample apps, web applications, and backend REST API services.
-Integrate QA cycles into development sprints effectively.
-Execute test plans as part of the development release cycle E
-Ensure that all critical bugs are reviewed and prioritized in advance of releases and that our products are of high quality by specifically testing beta releases.
-Build a system that delivers test reports after a QA cycle.
-Document the test cases with clearly defined execution steps and acceptance criteria.
-Work closely with Product Development and Operations to ensure 100% test coverage.
-Actively participate in daily scrum and planning meetings to discuss and resolve open bugs.
-Provide technical mentorship and coaching to other QA testers.
Requirements:
-8+ years of total experience in Quality Engineering that may comprise of:
4+ years of mobile testing experience.
4+ years in quality web application automation experience.
3+ years of experience with testing complex software systems and platforms (significant client-server communication a plus).
-In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices for mobile platforms and mobile app ecosystem.
-Strong technical credentials and experience with Appium and Selenium WebDriver.
-Python coding is a must.
-Experience with functional black/grey box testing.
-Experience testing and automating REST API services for high volume transaction processing systems.
-Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.
-Understanding of HTTP methods/verbs/error codes (GET, POST, etc.).
-Experience writing test cases and test plans for new features and existing features.
-In-depth understanding of cloud technologies.
-Exposure to JMeter or similar load and performance testing tools
-Experience using network proxy tools such as Charles, Wireshark, etc.
-Experience working in teams following agile development processes and issue trackers, e.g. JIRA.
-Good written and spoken skills in English.
-Strong communication skills in order to effectively work with overseas teams.
-A passion for product quality and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
Added Skills:
-Objective-C and Java programing experience is a plus.
-Experience working with Sauce Labs is a plus.
