I recruit for the group (Amazon Prime Now) that develops software systems that include services that handle thousands of requests per second, impacting billionsof dollars a year, and most importantly, delivering amazing customer experiences to millions worldwide. One facet of this effort is the newly launched Amazon Prime Now service. We are beginning to offer free two-hour delivery in 9 cities as an added benefit to our existing Prime memberships, and will scale to even more nationwide in 2016.
