Responsibilities

• Core
  • Write business logic in our cloud native backend service at scale.
  • Drive and implement frontend solution.
  • Partner with design, product, frontend and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality
  • Apply and adapt new knowledge / tech stack in a rapid speed. (coming out of your comfort zone is our day to day work)
• Eng Citizenship
  • Maintain, refactor, migration of our existed service.
  • Code Review.
  • Oncall & Incident Handling.
  • Day to day DevOps on AWS, GCP and Azure (optional)
  • Actively work to improve the developer process and experience in all phases from coding to operation.
• Technical Leadership
  • Write technical design and drive discussions on emerging new product.
  • Drive technical initiatives based on business context, conduct research and technical design to support long term business OKR.
  • Contribute to and lead each step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation to release; from rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, to architecting and building solutions that can scale.
• Technical Quality
  • Employ automated testing to build features with a high degree of technical quality, taking responsibility for the components and features you develop
  • Implement a rigorous release process that includes code reviews, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Autonomy
  • Enable to drive project without Tech Lead/CTO’s guidance with independent technical decisions.
  • Able tocommunicate technical design choices and decisionsin both online (meeting) and offline (slack, design doc, daily reports, etc)

Required Qualification

• 1+ years of industry full stack development experience, building consumer or business facing products
• Language: Typescript, Python, Go (optional) and a willingness to learn
• Experience with: Supabase, Postgres, Firebase
• Experience in developing micro-services in NodeJS, Python and Go
• Expertise with technologies such as React, NextJS, Electron(optional)
• Large scale infra experience
  • Experienced with multi tenant system with LB, sticky session, cache, MQ
• Experience in Opentelemetry, Grafana / Datadog
• Experience in experiment / analytics platform: posthog / amplitude / optimizely etc
• Containerized Service: Docker, ECS, k8s
• Bullet proof production level code - edge case handling, unit tests, E2E tests

Preferred Qualification:

• Hackathon winner
• Hands on experience with k8s and AWS
• Dev ops experience, hands-down experience in building CICD pipeline for automative testing and software releasing.
• Experienced with Websocket & SSE
• Experience with crawler, browser / mobile automation like selenium, appium etc. Had scraped sites at scale.
• Data Wrangling with
  • BigQuery to drive business insights + data mining
  • Writing Data Pipeline with Spark, Apache Beam, DBT, Apache Airflow
• Experience with building data lake solutions / data warehouse.
